Computer Science and cybersecurity are rapidly evolving fields. In such an environment, what matters most is not just building a generic résumé, but developing your own strengths and growing through hands-on research. Our laboratory is guided by the values of Drive, Integrity, and Diligence, and we are looking for motivated students who want to steadily build their expertise in cybersecurity. Rather than expecting you to be fully prepared from day one, we value self-motivation to learn and grow.

🔍 Who We Are Looking For

• Students who have taken core CS courses such as Data Structures, Operating Systems, and Computer Networks, or those who may still be learning but are strongly motivated to improve

• Students who are familiar with, or interested in learning, Linux-based systems and software development (e.g., C/C++, Python, Go; prior experience is helpful but not required)

• Students who do not hesitate to reach out—even late at night via 1:1 DM—to ask questions, discuss ideas, and grow together

컴퓨터공학(CS)과 사이버보안 분야는 빠르게 변화하고 있습니다. 이런 상황에서 중요한 것은 단순한 스펙보다, 스스로 성장할 수 있는 방향과 자신만의 강점을 만들어가는 과정이라고 생각합니다. 우리 연구실은 의지·정직·성실이라는 가치를 바탕으로, 사이버보안 분야에서 차근차근 실력을 쌓아가고 싶은 학생들과 함께하고자 합니다. 이미 잘 준비된 학생보다는, 스스로 동기 부여를 하고 끝까지 해보려는 태도를 더 중요하게 봅니다.

🔍 이런 학생을 기다립니다

• 자료구조, 운영체제, 네트워크 등 학년에 맞는 CS 기초 과목을 성실히 공부했거나, 아직 부족하더라도 배우려는 의지가 있는 학생

• 리눅스 환경에 익숙하거나, 리눅스 기반 개발에 관심이 있는 학생 (C/C++, Python, Go 등 언어 경험은 있으면 좋지만 필수는 아닙니다.)

• 혼자 고민하기보다, 필요하다면 밤늦게라도 교수에게 1:1 DM으로 질문하고 토론하며 함께 성장하고 싶은 학생

• 이후 일정 조율을 통해 편안한 분위기의 면담을 진행합니다.

• 아직 하고 싶은 연구가 명확하지 않아도 괜찮습니다. 면담을 통해 함께 방향을 찾아갑니다.
